There may be times where you want to leverage ShopMy's automated gifting capabilities, but items that you'd like to gift aren't live on your site yet. The most common instance is when a brand would like to pre-seed items that haven't launched on their site yet. You can still gift these products by ensuring they have the correct settings in Shopify to pull into your Lookbook catalog.
The Lookbook catalog includes items that are active and published and active and unpublished (not on a sales channel). For items to show up in the Lookbook catalog, the following need to be assigned in Shopify:
- Title
- Image
- Non $0 Price
- Should be set to ‘Active’
Items in your Lookbook catalog that are not live on your site will read 'Unpublished' underneath the name of the item (pictured below). You will be able to add these products to your Lookbook and send them as normal, and the orders will flow through Shopify.
